Job Title: GeM Portal Expert
Location: Noida

Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
Job Summary:
We are hiring a skilled GeM Portal Expert to manage our company’s operations on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform. The candidate will be responsible for handling product listings, tenders, bids, documentation, order processing, and overall portal management, ensuring complete compliance with government procurement guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
🛒 GeM Portal Operations
Create, update, and manage product/service listings as per GeM standards.
Ensure accuracy and regular maintenance of product details, pricing, and certifications.
📄 Tender and Bid Management
Identify suitable tenders and bid opportunities daily.
Prepare documentation and submit competitive bids on time.
Track tender status and follow up with government departments when needed.
📦 Order Management
Process orders, generate invoices, and coordinate dispatch as per portal protocol.
Liaise with logistics and support teams to ensure on-time delivery.
✅ Compliance & Documentation
Keep all statutory documents up to date on GeM (GST, PAN, MSME, Authorization Letters, etc.).
Ensure 100% compliance with GeM procurement guidelines and company policies.
👥 Government Buyer Coordination
Serve as the first point of contact for all communications with government buyers on GeM.
Address inquiries, resolve disputes, and maintain professional rapport with buyers.
📊 Reporting & Analysis
Maintain records of listings, tenders submitted, bids won/lost, and sales through GeM.
Submit weekly/monthly reports to management on performance and opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline (B.Com, BBA, BA, etc.); MBA preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum 2 years of experience in handling GeM Portal operations.
Excellent knowledge of GeM functionalities including listing, bidding, and order processing.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic digital documentation.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in selling IT products, office supplies, or services on GeM.
Familiarity with MSME, Make in India, and GFR procurement norms.
