In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Take the necessary steps to achieve worldwide business growth in gas turbine
- Resource management, project reviews with lead and project manager on weekly basis
- Provide clear and concise business updates to the higher management
- Create monthly forecasts and report on actual performance against the planned performance.
- Effective Co-ordination & communication with PM/lead engineers
- Support Kick off meetings & design review meetings of the projects
- Ensure highest level of customer focus and meet or exceed the customer satisfaction targets by following departmental quality procedures
- Ensure the projects are completed within the assigned budget, schedule, and with efficiency improvement.
- Conduct weekly project review meetings, monthly department meeting and preparation of MOR
- Focus on overall team development and growth of individual team members. Be cognizant of their goals and aspirations.
- Set KRAs and identify competencies for the team and develop strong teamwork.
- Providing/arrange training to the GTS engineers
- Actively participate in the hiring process and groom lead engineers
- Ensure timely submission of time sheets, expense reports and other administrative functions for team
- Skill gap analysis and development plan for key skills
- Providing leadership, motivation and strategic direction to the team
- Contribute, as a member of the GEC management team, towards GEC meeting its overall performance objectives

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s / master’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering
- The candidate should have 2 plus years of experience of which at least 1 year should be in a technology related field with Coal/Combined Cycle Power Plant operation/modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Installation of Windows OS, Drivers, and Microsoft Patches
- Suggesting and implementing improvements to the testing procedures

- Strong knowledge of Gas Turbine control process, engineering, and commissioning
- Ability to deal with conflicting priorities from internal stakeholders, and demonstrate resilience and strong influencing skills to manage these effectively
- Confidence and interpersonal/communication skills to work and influence at all levels.
- Highly adept at stakeholder management and relationship building
- Change and performance management experience
