About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Garment Engineer to support our production and design teams in developing high-quality, production-friendly garments. The role involves ensuring efficient sample development, optimizing production processes, and collaborating with designers and production teams to balance creativity with manufacturability and cost-efficiency.

Core Responsibilities:

✅ Engage in sample development and ensure garments are production-friendly, supporting both R&D and design teams.

✅ Manage quality control processes throughout all stages of garment production, from sample development to final output.

✅ Troubleshoot production problems, including technical, material, or fit issues, and implement engineering solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

✅ Utilize industrial engineering techniques such as time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis to optimize efficiency and reduce operational waste.

✅ Apply process engineering principles to select and configure machinery, propose attachments, and recommend automation for improved productivity and resource utilization.

✅ Collaborate with designers, sample managers, and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, balancing creativity with production capabilities and cost constraints.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

✅ Strong knowledge of industrial engineering techniques and lean manufacturing principles.

✅ Analytical skills to interpret production data and troubleshoot operational issues.

✅ Knowledge of line balancing and manpower management based on production requirements.

✅ Proficiency in CAD software for garment pattern making and technical drawings.

✅ Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Apparel Manufacturing, Fashion Design, or related fields preferred.

✅ Strong communication skills for effective coordination with suppliers and production teams.

✅ Good command of English and local languages for smooth verbal and written communication.
