We are looking for a creative and technically strong Game Developer to design and build engaging, browser-based games focused on cyber security awareness and behavior change. This role blends front-end development expertise with instructional game design to create short, impactful learning experiences delivered directly through the browser.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive, browser-based games using modern web technologies. 
• Build game logic that tracks user progress, scores, decisions, and outcomes. 
• Integrate games with backend systems via REST/HTTP APIs to exchange data securely. 
• Create engaging, gamified learning experiences aligned with security awareness objectives. 
• Design realistic phishing simulation mechanics with decision points and instant feedback. 
• Ensure games are fully responsive and work seamlessly across desktop and mobile devices. 
• Optimize game performance for smooth rendering and fast load times. 
• Collaborate with content, security, and product teams to translate learning goals into gameplay. 
• Maintain clean, well-documented code and follow version control best practices. 

Required Skills & Experience

Web Game Development (Core)

• Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). 
• Proven experience building interactive, browser-based games or simulations. 

API Integration (REST/HTTP)

• Hands-on experience using fetch, Axios, or similar libraries for API integration. 
• Ability to handle user progress, scoring, and content retrieval from backend systems. 

Instructional Game Design

• Understanding of gamification principles and learning psychology. 
• Ability to design short, engaging games that drive awareness and behavioral change. 

Phishing Simulation Mechanics

• Knowledge of phishing concepts and realistic attack patterns. 
• Ability to simulate decision-making scenarios with immediate in-game feedback. 

Responsive Design & Cross-Browser Compatibility

• Strong experience ensuring compatibility across major browsers. 
• Ability to deliver a consistent experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. 

Version Control

• Proficient use of Git for collaboration, versioning, and code management. 

Performance Optimization

• Experience optimizing JavaScript execution and asset loading. 
• Ability to improve rendering performance for smooth in-browser gameplay. 

✅ Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
• Prior experience developing web-based games, simulations, or interactive learning content.
