Role Overview: As a Game Designer at our studio in Thane, India, you will play a crucial role in creating fun and engaging games. You will be responsible for writing clear game design documents, collaborating with the team to develop unique game concepts, and staying updated with industry trends. Your creativity and passion for gaming will be essential in contributing to the success of our games. Key Responsibilities: - Write clear and concise game design documents. - Possess knowledge about prototyping, mechanics, pacing (balancing), tuning, tutorials, level ramp, and aesthetics. - Use a metrics-driven approach to game design, focusing on user feedback and driving retention, virality, and monetization. - Work closely with the senior designer and the team to create a fun and unique game. - Create mockups of the game screen during the conceptualization phase. - Participate in playtesting sessions, analyze feedback, and iterate on game performance. - Stay updated with industry trends and emerging game design techniques. - Help create video ads for marketing purposes. - Brainstorm and pitch game ideas regularly. Qualifications Required: - Passion for games and a deep understanding of what makes games fun and engaging. - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Game Designer. - Technical knowledge of game designing. - Experience in level design using the Unity Engine. - Proficiency in MS Excel for game balancing and Photoshop. - Understanding of systems, mechanics, and design features. - Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
