Responsibilities

• Deconstruct and analyze games to define core loops, mechanics, systems, balancing, and progression.
• Design gameplay mechanics, player controllers, and progression systems.
• Prototype gameplay features and mechanics in

  Unity

• Balance gameplay using analytics, testing results, and player feedback.
• Create and maintain clear

  GDDs, feature specifications, and design documentation

• Design and block out levels for

  2D and 3D games

  using paper design and Unity Engine.
• Build levels that reinforce core gameplay, pacing, challenge, and player engagement.
• Iterate levels based on analytics, playtests, and cross-team feedback.
  

• Understand the full game development pipeline from concept to launch.
• Collaborate closely with

  engineering, art, and QA

  teams for smooth implementation.
• Communicate design intent clearly and effectively across teams

• Strong portfolio showcasing

  gameplay design, level design, and Unity prototypes

  .
• Proficiency in

  Unity

  (prototyping, level blockouts).
• Solid understanding of

  hypercasual, casual, and mid-core

  game design principles.
• Ability to analyze metrics and apply insights to improve gameplay.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Strong passion for playing, analyzing, and breaking down games across genres.
