Job Description

• Strong understanding of Lloyd’s market operations, syndicates, Managing Agent and MGA / cover holder environments.

• Knowledge of E2E Claims workflow and accounting systems.

• Knowledge of internal and external broker process, underwriting, reinsurance contracts, premium processing, and claims workflows.

• Sound knowledge of Marine, Aviation, Specialty, Cyber, Energy and Property lines of business.

• Hands-on Experience in insurance/reinsurance domain test scenarios on treaty, subscription, line slip, proportionate and excess of loss, multi-insurer and multi currencies, MRC etc.

• Deep understanding of bureau and non-bureau EDI messages; USM, BSM, LIMCLM etc.

• Knowledge of Lloyd’s market systems- DXC’s risk placement and claim platform, MRI, CLASS system, Verisk’s policy and claims systems would be desirable.

• Analyze business and functional requirements related to Lloyd’s syndicate operations and reinsurance workflows.

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for web portals, APIs, and EDI message’s batch processes.

• Perform data validation across multiple systems including policy, claims, and bordereaux processing.

• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing.

• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).

• Conduct UI, integration, regression, and UAT testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure defect resolution.

• Maintain test documentation, logs, and defect reports using tools like- ADO, JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr etc.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

• Knowledge of internal and Policy Servicing, underwriting, reinsurance contracts, premium processing.
