Technical Product Owner/Manager

This role combines technical product management expertise with platform stewardship, ensuring our eCommerce platform is reliable and scalable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical product owner/manager for the B2B eCommerce platform, translating business requirements into technical specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical features and ensure timely delivery
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and global platform strategy
• Work closely with enterprise architects and engineering teams to design and deliver integrations with backend systems (ERP, CRM, OMS, PIM)
• Serve as a bridge between the India and the U.S. teams, ensuring smooth communication, alignment, and delivery
• Provide technical guidance on platform scalability, performance optimization, and security best practices
• Monitor platform health, identify risks, and lead the resolution of technical issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Stay current with eCommerce trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, proactively recommending innovative solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 11-18 years of general IT experience
• 4+ years of experience in technical product management, including ownership of enterprise-scale digital platforms
• Strong understanding of B2B eCommerce platforms (e.g., SAP Commerce Cloud/Hybris, Salesforce Commerce, Adobe Commerce)
• Familiarity with API-driven architectures, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and drive cross-team delivery
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development frameworks and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams
• English level of minimum B2 (Upper-Intermediate) for effective communication

• Experience working with U.S.-based stakeholders in a matrixed enterprise environment
• Background in healthcare, pharma, or other regulated industries
• Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements for global digital platforms
