Work Schedule: 10 hours/day | 6 days/week | Rotational shifts

Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of veterinary medicine, diagnostics, and treatment protocols for small animals.
• Familiarity with preventive care, nutrition, behavior, and wellness best practices
• Knowledge of common breeds, disease management, and common care procedures
• Awareness of clinic operations, medical record management, and regulatory compliance
• Understanding of PawsnCollars’ holistic pet wellness approach and 360° care ecosystemConduct thorough health examinations, diagnostics, and treatments for pets
• Provide preventive care guidance, including vaccination, nutrition, and wellness plans
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with pet parents about diagnoses, treatments, and care instructions
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the clinic and treatment areas
• Perform spaying, neutering, and soft-tissue surgical procedures independently
• Oversee post-operative care and ensure proper recovery and follow-up
• Manage medical records, patient follow-ups, and inventory of medicines and supplies
• Collaborate with staff and teams to ensure holistic pet wellness
• Uphold PawsnCollars’ values, maintain the company’s vision and mission, and represent the brand professionally in every interaction

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent from a recognized institution (mandatory)
• Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in Karnataka
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in small animal practice (experience in surgery or specialty care preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and surgical skills, excellent communication and empathy toward clients, ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
