Role Overview: We’re looking for a dynamic, creative Social Media Assistant who is passionate about pets, storytelling, and digital content. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging Instagram content—especially videos and reels—that bring our brand stories to life, drive engagement, and connect with our community. Key Responsibilities: Shoot and edit high-quality Instagram Reels and videos showcasing pets, people, events, products, and behind-the-scenes moments at both PawsnCollars and Pet People Cafe. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content calendars and execute social media campaigns. Manage day-to-day Instagram posting, engagement, and audience interaction. Qualifications Proven experience as a barista in a high-volume cafe environment, with at least Four (4) of experience in a leadership or managerial role. Extensive knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, equipment, and specialty coffee trends. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering memorable experiences to customers. Solid understanding of cafe operations, including inventory management, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
