Role Description:

As a Full Stack Developer at Toystack, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end systems to deliver innovative solutions on our platform. Responsibilities include coding, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy web applications using React.js and Node.js.
• Build interactive and responsive UI components using modern React practices (Hooks, context, state management).
• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs.
• Integrate and manage databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product owners, and QA teams.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions to improve code quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in JavaScript and basic TypeScript.
• Good understanding of Node.js, Express.js, and building backend APIs.
• Experience with MongoDB or SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Understanding of REST API integration and backend–frontend communication.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of Redux, Context API, or any state management library.
• Experience with JWT authentication, OAuth, or session management.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
