Full Stack Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Full-Stack Engineer with hands-on

experience in React, React Native/Expo, and Python to join our development team. You

will be responsible for building scalable web and mobile applications, designing robust

backend systems, and delivering seamless user experiences across platforms.

Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js

● Build and deploy cross-platform mobile applications using React Native with Expo

● Develop and maintain robust backend services/APIs using Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI)

● Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces

● Integrate third-party APIs and manage cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Firebase)

● Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of all developed applications

● Participate in code reviews, testing, and optimisation efforts

● Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Frontend:

● Strong experience with React.js and component-based architecture

● Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

● Proficient with React Native and Expo CLI for mobile app development

● Experience with Redux, React Navigation, and mobile performance optimisation

● Familiarity with mobile app deployment to App Store and Google Play Store

Backend:

● Proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in Django, or FastAPI

● Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a plus)

● Understanding of authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, etc.)

● Database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB

DevOps / Tooling:

● Familiarity with version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

● Exposure to AWS

● Exposure to Docker and containerised deployment workflows (nice to have)

Soft Skills:

● Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

● Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

● Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

● Passion for clean code, performance, and continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent

experience)

● 2+ years of full-stack development experience

● Experience working in a startup or fast-paced product environment
