Full Stack Engineer

Job Title:Frontend/Full Stack Developer (1–3 Years Experience)Location:[Remote / Hybrid]Experience Level:1–3 YearsJob Summary:We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Frontend/Full Stack Developer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and Node.js. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in modern web development, experience building responsive web applications, and basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software deployment processes.Key Responsibilities: • Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using React, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality user experiences. • Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with backend services. • Ensure web applications are responsive, performant, and optimized for different devices and browsers. • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting issues. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. • Support basic CI/CD practices by contributing to automated builds, testing, and deployments.Required Skills & Qualifications: • 1–3 years of professional experience in web development. • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. • Hands-on experience with React.js for building interactive UIs. • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Node.js for backend services. • Familiarity with Git (branching, merging, pull requests). • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts (basic level). • Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.Nice to Have (Optional): • Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL). • Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.). • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) basics.Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.About Us:At Bern AI Lab, we’re building the next generation of AI-native systems: modular, agentic, and production-ready.
