About the Role

We’re hiring multiple Full Stack Developers (SDE-1 & SDE-2) to help us build and scale 1Fi’s core products from the ground up. This is a true 0→1 builder role, not a ticket-driven engineering position. You’ll work closely with the founding team to transform ambitious fintech ideas into reliable, high-performance web and mobile products - owning features end-to-end, from problem definition to production. What You’ll Do

• Build, ship, and iterate on core product flows across web and mobile using React.js / React Native and Node.js (or a similar modern stack).
• Design and implement backend systems and APIs powering lending, payments, and investment workflows.
• Own features completely — from understanding user problems to designing, developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring them in production.
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance as the platform grows.
• Collaborate directly with founders on product strategy, UX, and technical architecture.
• Continuously experiment with tools, frameworks, and patterns to improve developer velocity and product quality.

Who You Are

• 0–3 years of full-stack development experience, with evidence that you can ship independently.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and Node.js / Express.js.
• Comfortable working with databases (PostgreSQL / Supabase) and integrating third-party APIs.
• Familiar with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or equivalent) and Git-based workflows.
• High ownership mindset — you don’t wait for instructions; you identify problems and solve them.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment with minimal hand-holding.
• Genuinely interested in fintech, especially lending, investments, or wealth-tech.
• Experience building or integrating financial, lending, payments, or investment platforms.
• Exposure to scalability, security, or compliance-heavy systems.
