Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack)

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Full Stack Developer with 2-3 years of experience in the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) stack to join our growing team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both frontend and backend development, capable of building robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications from concept to deployment. You will contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain both client-side and server-side components of our web applications using the MERN stack.
  

• Develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces with React.js, ensuring an excellent user experience.
  

• Build and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
  

• Design and implement NoSQL databases (MongoDB), ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
  

• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  

• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  

• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team.
  

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in the MERN stack and broader web development ecosystem.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of proven professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on the MERN stack
  

• Proficiency in React.js for frontend development, including a solid understanding of its core principles and workflows (e.g., state management with Redux/Context API).
  

• Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js for building robust backend services and APIs.
  

• Hands-on experience with MongoDB for database design, modeling, and management.
  

• Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  

• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  

• Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  

• Good understanding of the overall web development stack, including deployment processes, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
  

• Knowledge of testing frameworks for both frontend (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and backend (e.g., Mocha, Chai).
  

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  

Bonus Points:

• Experience with TypeScript.
  

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deployment strategies.
  

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
  

• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
