Frontend SDE2

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications using React Native.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, architect, and implement new features and enhancements.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and responsiveness of mobile applications across various devices and platforms.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical issues.
• Uphold codequality standards, promote best practices, and contribute to the evolution of development processes and tools.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to established standards and foster knowledge sharing.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development, and advocate for their adoption within the team.
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Proficiency in React Native and demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality mobile applications.
• Strong command of JavaScript and its ecosystem, including ES6+ syntax and modern libraries/frameworks.
• Familiarity with mobile development tools and technologies, such as Xcode, Android Studio, and relevant SDKs.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, asynchronous request handling, and data management within mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative workflows.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with native mobile development for iOS and/or Android platforms.
• Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or MobX in the context of React Native applications.
• Proficiency in unit testing frameworks like Jest and/or end-to-end testing frameworks like Detox.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and articulate technical concepts.
