Job Summary

The Front Office Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the front desk to ensure efficient guest service delivery. The role involves supervising associates, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, resolving issues, and maintaining smooth coordination with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction and uphold hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the Front Office Associates during daily operations.
  • Ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures for all guests.
  • Handle guest complaints and service recovery promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate room status, guest records, and billing information.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments regarding room status and guest requests.
  • Assist in training, mentoring, and motivating front office team members.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to hotel policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and service standards.
  • Conduct shift briefings, assign tasks, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Review daily occupancy, arrivals, departures, and special guest requests.
  • Manage cash handling, billing, and credit procedures efficiently.
  • Prepare daily reports and communicate key operational information to management.
  • Promote hotel facilities and upsell rooms and services to maximize revenue.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in front office operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and MS Office.
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance, and customer-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to handle pressure and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Conditions

  • Must be flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • High guest interaction role requiring a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Standing for extended periods during shift hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
