Job Title: Front Office Executive - Outpatient Department

Job Description:

As a Front Office Executive in our Outpatient Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of patient services. You will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking our service, responsible for providing a welcoming and supportive environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This position involves interacting with various types of patients, including new outpatients, follow-up patients, and those seeking psychotherapy or psychological testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Reception: Greet patients and visitors with warmth and empathy, creating a positive first impression of the hospital.

Patient Registration: Accurately collect and record patient information, including personal details, and other related information.

Billing and Payment Processing: Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and ensure timely and accurate billing for services rendered.

Appointment Scheduling: Manage appointment bookings for consultations, psychotherapy sessions, and psychological testing, coordinating availability with clinical staff.

Patient Assistance: Provide assistance and guidance to patients regarding appointment schedules, required documentation, and hospital policies.

Maintain Patient Records: Ensure confidentiality and integrity of patient records, both in physical and electronic formats, adhering to privacy regulations.

Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clinical staff, including Psychiatrists, Clinical psychologists, Social workers and therapists, to coordinate patient care and address any scheduling or administrative issues.

Administrative Support: Assist in various administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and inventory management, to support the efficient operation of the outpatient department.

Customer Service: Respond to inquiries and concerns from patients and their families in a professional and empathetic manner, demonstrating sensitivity to their mental health needs.

Adherence to Policies: Follow hospital policies and procedures, including safety protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Any bachelor's degree.

· Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in a front office or customer service role, is advantageous.

· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients from diverse backgrounds.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficiency in computer applications, including electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office suite.

· Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing processes is desirable.

· Compassion, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude towards individuals seeking services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
