Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Staff Nurse to join our team and contribute to the exceptional care provided to patients in our hospital. The Staff Nurse will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality nursing care, monitor patient progress, and ensure a safe and therapeutic environment conducive to healing and recovery. Responsibilities: · Provide holistic nursing care to patients admitted to the Psychiatric In-patient ward, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met. · Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team. · Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for any adverse reactions. · Monitor and assess patient mental status, behavior, and vital signs, reporting any significant changes to the medical team. · Implement therapeutic interventions and techniques to support patients in managing their symptoms and promoting coping mechanisms. · Educate patients and their families about psychiatric conditions, treatment plans, and medication management to facilitate understanding and compliance. · Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes. · Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care and treatment goals. · Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and observations to inform treatment planning and patient care. · Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures governing psychiatric nursing practice and patient safety.
