Front-End Developer

.As a Front-End Developer, you will design and implement high-performing, scalable, and visually engaging user interfaces for eCommerce platforms using
Commercetools
and modern frameworks like
React, Next.js, or Vue.js
. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—UX/UI, backend, and product—to create seamless, responsive experiences that align with business goals. Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and implement responsive, user-friendly front-end components integrated with Commercetools APIs
- Collaborate with UX/UI, backend, and product teams to deliver cohesive eCommerce experiences
- Develop and maintain reusable components and libraries for efficient scaling
- Optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability of front-end applications
- Integrate with third-party APIs and systems such as payment gateways, analytics, and CMS platforms
- Translate wireframes and mockups into pixel-perfect, interactive interfaces
- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices in coding and documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser and performance issues
- Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and Commercetools ecosystem trends
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of professional front-end development experience
- Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and UI frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js
- Proven experience with Commercetools, including API integrations and headless commerce setups
- Hands-on experience with GraphQL or RESTful APIs
- Working knowledge of Node.js, build tools, and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, Context API)
- Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience in agile development environments and version control (Git)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Nice to have: experience with Composable Commerce architecture, headless CMS tools (Contentful, Storyblok), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), SEO optimization, and testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress)
