Job Description

Location: Shining Sand Beach Resort, Goa Department: Front Office Position: Front Desk Executive Reports To: Manager Job Summary: The Front Desk Executive is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience at Shining Sand Beach Resort, Goa. The role involves handling guest check-ins/outs, managing reservations, responding to guest needs, and ensuring smooth front office operations. Welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently. Provide information about resort facilities, services, local attractions, and activities in Goa. Address guest queries, requests, and complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, and other departments to fulfill guest requirements. Reservation & Front Desk Operations - Manage room reservations via phone, email, and online platforms. Maintain accurate guest records and update the PMS (Property Management System). Handle billing, payments, and daily cash reconciliation. Issue room keys, manage room allocations, and monitor room availability. Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner. Communication & CoordinationAct as a communication link between guests and resort departments. Assist in handling emergency situations as per resort protocols. Ensure awareness of daily events, VIP arrivals, and occupancy status. Administrative DutiesManage incoming calls and emails professionally. Keep records of guest feedback and escalate concerns when necessary. Prepare daily front-office reports as required. Required Skills & Competencies - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Pleasant personality and strong customer service orientation. Ability to multitask and remain calm in busy situations. Basic computer knowledge and experience with hotel PMS (preferred). Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail. Fluent in English; knowledge of Hindi, Konkani, or additional languages is an advantage. Qualifications Minimum HSSC (12th pass); Diploma/Degree in Hospitality preferred. 1–3 years of experience in front office or customer service (Freshers may be considered).
