Job Description

Key Responsibilities

As a Freight Forwarding Operations Manager, your responsibilities include:

Project Planning and Execution:
You will be in charge of planning, scheduling, and overseeing the execution of freight forwarding projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
Addressing logistical challenges, resolving shipment issues, and making critical decisions to optimize routes and transportation modes for efficient operations.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Working closely with teams across procurement, customs compliance, and transportation to coordinate seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
Leadership and Mentorship:
Providing guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and driving operational excellence through effective leadership.
Process Improvement and Innovation:
Identifying opportunities for process enhancements, implementing innovative solutions, and staying abreast of industry trends to drive operational efficiency.
Technical or Customer-Facing Responsibilities:
Handling customer queries, managing vendor relationships, and leveraging technology tools for effective shipment tracking and reporting.
