Shift timing: 06:30pm to 3:30am (No Cab facility)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Freight Broker to join our logistics team. In this role, you will act as the intermediary between shippers and carriers, ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and timely transportation of goods across the U.S and Canada. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the freight market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with both clients and carrier partners.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers to secure new freight opportunities.
• Negotiate rates and contracts to ensure profitable margins while meeting customer expectations.
• Manage the full freight lifecycle: booking loads, tracking shipments, and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Monitor market trends, capacity, and rates to provide competitive solutions to clients.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.
• Resolve service issues, claims, or delays quickly and professionally.
• Provide exceptional customer service by serving as the primary point of contact for both shippers and carriers.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience as a freight broker or logistics coordinator (US Logistics).
• Should have ability to get new clients onboard and get shipment completed

• The experience should be in Sales and not in CMD, Safety, Compliance, Accounts etc.

• Strong knowledge of U.S. trucking industry, including modes such as FTL, LTL, intermodal, and flatbed.
• Existing book of business and carrier relationships strongly preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience in specialized freight (refrigerated, oversized, hazardous, etc.).
