Freight Broker

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Freight Broker to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for connecting shippers with carriers, negotiating competitive rates, and ensuring smooth transportation of goods. This role requires strong networking, communication, and problem-solving skills in the fast-paced logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with shippers, carriers, and other logistics partners.
• Negotiate freight rates with carriers to secure competitive pricing.
• Source reliable carriers to move freight in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to clients.
• Resolve any transportation-related issues such as delays, claims, or damages.
• Develop new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, invoices, and communications.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Freight Broker, Logistics Coordinator, or in transportation sales.
• Strong knowledge of freight markets, carrier networks, and transportation regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and MS Office tools.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
