Role Description

Freelance ORMB Developer

delivery-oriented engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom ORMB components using

  ORMB/ERP

  and

  OUAF

• Build and enhance

  algorithms, batch jobs, business services, plugins, and scripts

  (Groovy, BPA, Plugin Scripts)
• Extend standard ORMB functionality to meet business requirements
• Configure ORMB modules including

  billing, pricing, payments, and revenue calculations

• Integrate ORMB with upstream and downstream systems using

  APIs, REST/XML, XAI/IWS, and file-based integrations

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Support

  unit testing, integration testing, and UAT

  , and resolve defects
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to ORMB applications
• Monitor and optimize system performance, including

  SQL tuning and WebLogic configuration

• Work with DBAs on performance improvements, patches, and enhancements
• Provide ongoing

  application support and maintenance

  , including incident and change management
• Create and maintain

  technical documentation

  , solution designs, and deployment guides
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including

  finance, IT, and operations

• Participate in

  Agile ceremonies

  and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in

  Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and OUAF

• Hands-on experience with

  ORMB data models, billing rules, pricing, and revenue calculations

• Experience developing

  ORMB algorithms, batch jobs, and business services

• Familiarity with

  Agile methodologies

  and batch scheduling tools such as

  Control-M, TFM, and TRF

• Experience integrating ORMB with external systems
• Strong

  problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
