Founding Engineer

Job Title: Founding Engineer - Wisemonk

Location: Bengaluru (5-day in-office)

Experience: 2–6 years

At Wisemonk, we're building the rails for global companies to hire, pay, and manage talent in India — without needing a local entity. Our platform is powering the next wave of cross-border work by making employment, compliance, and payments seamless.

We're already revenue-generating, backed by experienced founders, and growing fast. Now, we're looking for a founding engineer to lead our next phase of product development.

What You’ll Do:

• Rebuild and scale core product (starting with contractor payments + EOR dashboards) using Supabase + Lovable or similar stack
• Work directly with the founder to ship fast and prioritize what moves metrics
• Build for scale — architect for thousands of global clients and Indian contractors
• Own infra, backend, frontend, and deployment end-to-end
• Work closely with growth and delivery teams to create internal tools and onboarding flows
• Shape the culture, tech stack, and engineering standards from day 1

You Might Be a Fit If:

• You’ve built and shipped full-stack products (solo or as a tech lead)
• You’re strong with tools like Supabase, Next.js, TypeScript, Postgres
• You’ve worked in a startup or SaaS environment with real users
• You love ownership, speed, and sweating the details
• You care about building infra that supports real people — especially in emerging markets
