Founding Engineer
—a technical visionary excited to build from 0 to 1, own the entire tech foundation, and shape the DNA of a company.
Your Mission: From Blank Canvas to Scalable System
As the first engineer, you will be the architect, builder, and technical strategist, all in one. You won't be inheriting legacy code; you'll be setting the standard.
- Architect the Future (0 → 1): Design, build, and deploy the entire technical stack from scratch. You will make the foundational decisions (architecture, infrastructure, frameworks) that will define our product for years.
- Build & Ship, Fast (Hands-On): Write clean, scalable, production-grade code every day. You'll be building the core B2C-first product (with B2B extensions), not just managing it.
- Engineer for Scale (1 → 100): Create a robust and scalable foundation from day one. Your work will support millions of users.
- Partner with Founders: Work in a tight-knit loop with Mahak and Ganesh to rapidly iterate, translate vision into features, and actively contribute to product strategy.
- Build the Team: You will be the cornerstone of our engineering culture, playing a key role in hiring, mentoring, and scaling the future technical team.
Who We're Looking For: The Entrepreneurial Builder
We are looking for a specific mindset, not just a list of skills. This is you:
- A Proven "0-to-1" Engineer: You have 5+ years of experience, ideally in a fast-paced startup, high-growth tech company, or as an ex-founder yourself. You have a portfolio of products you've built from the ground up.
- T-Shaped & Hands-On: You are a strong Backend Architect at heart (systems, infra, scalability) who is also highly proficient and enjoys working on the Frontend (Frontend building could be through a junior engineer/intern as well). You can, and want to, own the full stack.
- AI-Curious: You have tangible experience integrating AI tools, models, and APIs. You're excited by the potential of LLMs and other models to create magical user experiences.
- Extreme Ownership: You thrive in ambiguity. You are a self-starter who takes 100% responsibility and has a relentless "get it done" attitude.
- Product-Minded: You don't just build what you're told. You think critically about the why, challenge assumptions, and care deeply about the user experience.
