We are a Singapore-based startup on a mission to transform wellness for professionals and students who spend long hours in front of screens. By harnessing cutting-edge technology, we track user habits, deliver actionable insights, and empower users to enhance their overall wellness.

Our core infrastructure is in place, and we are currently in the user testing phase. This is a rare opportunity to join a 0-to-1 journey and be a pivotal part of building a core deep-tech product from the ground up. You will be working alongside a small, highly experienced team of 6-7 engineers and product leaders, where your work will have a direct and immediate impact.

Our founders bring a wealth of experience from prestigious institutions like IIT Madras and NTU Singapore, with over 22 years of collective experience building and scaling fast-paced startups. Ishaan has successfully launched two venture-funded startups in Singapore, while Mehul has driven technology adoption for global giants like Amazon, Delivery Hero, and Flipkart across Europe and India. What You Will Build & Own

As an AI App Development Engineer, you will work across our entire stack. You won't be siloed; you'll have the opportunity to own features end-to-end and shape the architecture of a complex system.

• High-Performance Desktop App:

  Develop and maintain the frontend of our laptop application. You will initially work with our Python/PyQt stack while playing a key role in migrating components to a more performant, native stack using C++.

• Edge AI & Computer Vision:

  Implement, optimize, and deploy computer vision models that run efficiently on user devices. You will focus on minimizing latency and resource consumption (CPU/memory) to ensure a seamless user experience.

• Scalable Cloud Backend:

  Design and manage our cloud infrastructure for essential services like user data backups, account management, and running heavier AI models that are not suitable for the edge.

• Robust System Architecture:

  Write clean, modular, and well-documented code with a strong emphasis on performance and maintainability. You will be responsible for ensuring the system is performant, reliable, and scalable.

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Strong CS Fundamentals:

  A deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems (processes, threading, concurrency), and networking.

• Core Programming Proficiency:

  Professional fluency in both

  Python

  and

  C++

  . You should be able to write high-performance, production-ready code.

• Full-Stack Experience:

  Demonstrable experience building applications with distinct frontend, backend, and database components.

• Cloud & Database Knowledge:

  Practical experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and proficiency with SQL databases.

• System-Level Thinking:

  Ability to understand and work within complex software architectures and build high-performance applications.

• Excellent Communication & Collaboration:

  You can articulate technical concepts clearly, document your work properly, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

  You are a proactive learner, curious about new technologies, and possess the grit to solve challenging problems in a fast-paced startup environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• Desktop Application Development:

  Hands-on experience building cross-platform desktop apps, and an understanding of Win11 and MacOS.

• Computer Vision Experience:

  Familiarity with CV libraries like OpenCV and model inference runtimes like ONNX Runtime.

• Performance Optimization:

  Proven experience profiling and debugging performance bottlenecks in desktop applications.

• Architectural Design:

  Experience designing microservices-based architectures and ensuring robust inter-process communication (IPC).

• CI/CD:

  Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.
