About the role:

This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role ideal for a proactive individual excited to work closely with the founding team of Formulators Inc. The Startup Specialist will handle core operational functions including customer-facing support, product cataloguing, shipment tracking, and daily operations. Candidates with content-based marketing skills will find additional opportunities to contribute creatively to the brand’s growth.


Key Responsibilities:


Customer-Facing Support:

  • Manage and respond to customer queries and complaints via multiple channels (email, chat, phone), ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Document frequent customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams for continual process and product improvement.


Cataloguing & Product Listing:

  • Assist in maintaining and updating product catalogues across e-commerce platforms ensuring accurate, consistent, and optimized product information.
  • Coordinate cataloguing requirements with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and precise product data.


Shipment Tracking & Follow-Ups:

  • Track shipments and coordinate with logistics partners to provide customers with real-time delivery updates.
  • Follow up on delayed or problematic shipments and work with the operations team to resolve delivery issues.


Operations Handling:

  • Support daily operational processes including order processing, inventory monitoring, coordination with warehouse and procurement teams.
  • Assist in resolving operational bottlenecks and ensuring smooth fulfillment workflows.


Content-Based Marketing:

  • Create or support content for product descriptions, blog posts, newsletters, and social media to enhance brand presence and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for campaign ideas and digital content strategies.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing one in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a startup environment.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Google Workspace, and basic familiarity with e-commerce cataloguing tools (Shopify, Amazon, etc.) is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of shipment tracking and logistics coordination.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience or interest in content writing, digital marketing, or social media management.
