Job description
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership:
• Develop and communicate a clear vision and mission for the school.
• Lead strategic planning initiatives to achieve educational excellence and continuous
improvement.
• Inspire and motivate faculty, staff, and students to achieve their highest potential.
2. Academic Excellence:
• Oversee curriculum development and implementation, ensuring alignment with
educational standards and best practices.
• Monitor academic performance and implement interventions as needed to support
student success.
• Evaluate instructors and other staff members to ensure that the standardized curriculum
is adhered to, and identify areas of improvement.
• Foster a culture of inquiry, critical thinking, and innovation in teaching and learning.
3. Student Development and Well-being:
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
• Implement policies and programs to promote student well-being, character
development, and leadership skills.
• Discipline students according to school policy and enforce campus rules, such as the
dress code and attendance policy.
• Collaborate with counselors and support staff to address student needs and challenges.
• Provide guidance and counselling services to students on their academic or vocational
goals and offer assistance with behavioral modification programs.
4. Faculty and Staff Management:
• Participate in hiring, training and other employment activities for instructors and
secondary staff members to create a dynamite team.
• Provide professional development opportunities and support for continuous growth and
learning.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance
performance.
5. Parent and Community Engagement:
• Build positive relationships with parents, alumni, and the broader community.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders through newsletters, meetings, and events.
• Collaborate with community partners to enhance educational opportunities for
students.
6. Financial Management:
• Develop and manage the school budget in collaboration with the finance team.
• Identify and pursue funding opportunities, grants, and partnerships to support school
initiatives.
• Ensure transparent and responsible financial practices in line with regulatory
requirements.
Key Qualifications/ Eligibility
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Education.
• Experience as founder Principal
• Extensive experience in educational leadership, in a boarding school setting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of academic excellence, student achievement, and school
improvement.
• Knowledge of educational trends, curriculum development, and assessment practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and build effective teams.
• Visionary mindset, strategic thinking, and a passion for innovation in education.
• Respect for dietary preferences and practices in accordance with Jain dietary guidelines
inside the school campus.
