Job description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant and Bar Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, hands-on leader who can drive operations, inspire staff, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant and bar, from daily operations to long-term strategic planning. Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day restaurant and bar operations, including opening and closing duties, staff scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling. Team Management: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise all front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and bussers. Conduct performance reviews and foster a positive, productive work environment. Guest Experience: Ensure every guest receives outstanding service. Address and resolve any guest complaints promptly and professionally. Financial Oversight: Monitor labor costs, food and beverage costs, and other operational expenses to meet budget goals. Generate and analyze sales reports to identify opportunities for growth. Menu & Inventory: Work with the kitchen team to develop and update menus. Manage all purchasing and inventory for the bar, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing waste. Compliance & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor license regulations. Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate with management to develop and execute marketing strategies and special promotions to increase sales and attract new customers. Qualifications Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, or a similar role in a high-volume restaurant or bar. Strong knowledge of restaurant and bar operations, including front-of-house management, kitchen operations, and financial management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional customer service abilities with a calm, professional demeanor. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and liquor laws. Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A passion for the food and beverage industry and a commitment to quality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
