Floor Supervisor

As a Workshop Supervisor, your role involves overseeing the daily operations of the workshop to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this position: - Conduct morning briefing sessions with service advisors, mechanics, and technicians to allocate vehicles and jobs based on skill levels and workload. - Supervise all repair and service jobs on the workshop floor, ensuring adherence to job cards, SOPs, and safety guidelines. - Monitor the quality of work to minimize rework cases and support mechanics in diagnosing complex issues. - Coordinate with the Service Advisor for status updates, approvals, and timely job completion as per delivery promise time. - Conduct in-process and final quality checks before vehicle delivery, ensuring adherence to service standards and job card procedures. - Coordinate with the Parts Department for part availability, update Service Advisors on job progress, and liaise with the Warranty/CRM team for claim jobs. - Assist Service Advisors during vehicle delivery for technical explanations, handle customer complaints, and ensure on-time delivery of vehicles in proper condition. - Review completed and pending jobs at the end of the day, prepare daily performance reports, and share summaries with the Service Manager. - Guide, mentor, and train mechanics and trainees on technical improvements, monitor productivity and discipline, and identify areas for process improvement.
