Floor Incharge

1. Morning Preparation & Team Briefing

Ensure all service bays, tools, and equipment are ready for use.

Conduct daily briefing with mechanics, service advisors, and technicians.

Allocate jobs based on skill levels and workload.

Review previous day’s pending jobs and plan for the day.

2. Job Card Flow & Work Allocation

Monitor the flow of job cards from Service Advisors.

Assign vehicles to the right technicians (regular, express, warranty, etc.).

Prioritize urgent or VIP customer vehicles.

3. Workshop Floor Supervision

Constantly monitor the service floor for efficiency and cleanliness.

Ensure jobs are progressing as per schedule.

Guide mechanics when technical support is needed.

Enforce safety and quality standards.

4. Time & Productivity Monitoring

Track technician productivity and efficiency.

Ensure minimal idle time and bay utilization.

Report delays or unusual downtime to the Service Manager.

5. Quality Check & Vehicle Readiness

Ensure test rides and quality checks are done before delivery.

Sign off on final inspection for each completed vehicle.

Ensure vehicle is washed and cleaned before handover.

6. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with Spare Parts Executive to ensure part availability.

Communicate with Service Advisors about job progress and delivery time.

Escalate technical issues to Service Manager or Technical Trainer if needed.

7. Updating Job Status & Record ,Update job card status in the DMS (Dealer Management System).

Ensure technician performance records are updated.

8. Reporting & Feedback

Submit daily work reports to the Service Manager.

Provide feedback on technician performance and training needs.

Suggest process improvements.

9. Housekeeping & Discipline

Ensure workshop cleanliness and proper tool placement.

Maintain discipline among workshop staff (timing, uniform, behavior).

10. End of Day Review

Review jobs completed, pending, and carry-forward.

Conduct a short team meeting for feedback and next-day preparation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
