Job Title: Floor Manager

Location: Challani Jewellery Mart, T. Nagar, Chennai
Department: Retail Showroom Operations
Reporting To: Showroom Head / Sales Manager

Job Summary:

The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the jewellery showroom floor, ensuring seamless customer experience, sales performance, and staff coordination. The role requires strong leadership, product knowledge, and the ability to maintain showroom standards that reflect the brand’s premium image.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily floor operations and ensure smooth customer service across all counters.
• Allocate and monitor staff duties, attendance, grooming, and overall discipline.
• Ensure product display, lighting, and cleanliness meet company standards.
• Motivate the sales team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
• Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolutions.
• Coordinate with billing, stock, and counter teams for product availability.
• Monitor sales conversions, footfall reports, and prepare daily performance summaries.
• Support management in executing promotional activities, offers, and events.
• Maintain relationships with repeat and high-value customers.
• Train and guide new sales associates on floor etiquette and customer handling.

Qualifications & Experience:

Junior Level

Any Graduate

2–4 years

Jewellery or luxury retail showroom experience

Mid Level

Graduate / Diploma in Retail Management

5–8 years

Jewellery / Lifestyle Retail / Branded Showroom

Senior Level

Graduate / MBA (Retail / Marketing preferred)

8–12 years

Leadership role in Jewellery or Premium Retail

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and team management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• In-depth product knowledge of gold, diamond, and silver jewellery
• Customer-centric and sales-driven mindset
• Ability to handle pressure and multitask effectively
• Basic computer knowledge (POS/Billing systems preferred)
• Polished grooming and professional presentation

Compensation:

Salary will be commensurate with experience and interview performance.
