Role - Finops Mnaager

Exp - 3-6 Years

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Fund Flow & Risk Management

Monitor and validate daily borrower & lender escrow balances.

Ensure seamless execution of T+1 settlements in alignment with RBI guidelines.

Track idle funds, variances, settlement delays and coordinate proactive follow-ups.

Ensure adherence to RBI Digital Lending & P2P guidelines in all financial operations.

Maintain documentation, logs, and evidentiary trails for audits.

Support compliance reviews, internal audits, and follow-up action plans.

2. Lender-Borrower Fund Matching

Oversee and validate the fund allocation logic for lender-to-borrower matching.

Ensure accuracy for both manual lending and auto-lending processes.

Monitor mismatches, exceptions, and reassignments.

3. Escrow Reconciliation & Accuracy Control

Conduct daily reconciliations across:

Escrow System

Payment gateway transactions Bank credit

Disbursements Payout confirmations

Investigate breaks and ensure 100% accuracy in daily financial reporting.

4. Cost Optimization & Efficiency Management

Analyze payment gateway charges, payout fees, and other operational expenses.

Identify opportunities to reduce FinOps costs via process improvements, routing optimization, and automation.

Track per-transaction cost metrics and build dashboards for leadership visibility.

5. Workflow Enhancement & Automation

Collaborate with Tech/Product to automate manual processes (escrow reconciliation, settlements, mandate tracking, PG reconciliation).

Contribute to the development of FinOps dashboards, monitoring tools, and automation scripts.

Participate in UAT for new Product/Tech releases impacting fund flow or escrow operations.

Must-Have Skills

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

Strong understanding of financial systems, internal controls, audits, and reconciliations.

Relevant experience in fintech, NBFC, banking, payments, or financial operations.

High accuracy and attention to detail when handling large financial datasets.

Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Strong ownership, accountability, and ability to work under time-sensitive situations.

Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Tech, and Compliance teams.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience in process automation or working closely with Product/Tech teams.

Working knowledge of dashboards/analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Drona).

Understanding of payment gateway ecosystems and settlement routing.

Familiarity with RBI guidelines related to Digital Lending & P2P.
