General Manager Investor Relations

As a seasoned Investor Relations (IR) professional with over 15 years of experience in real estate sector, you will be responsible for managing and executing comprehensive investor relations strategies while engaging with analysts, institutional investors, and key stakeholders. Your primary objective will be to ensure clear and consistent communication between the company and the investor community, driving transparency and fostering strong relationships to enhance corporate value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investor Relations Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management (CMD & CFO) to design and execute robust IR strategies that effectively communicate the company's performance, strategic vision, and financial position to investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Financial Communication: Prepare key IR materials, including quarterly earnings releases, earnings presentations, financial news releases, and other investor communications to ensure clear, transparent, and consistent messaging across all platforms.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, major shareholders, and other capital market participants. Ensure timely and accurate communication regarding corporate performance, developments, and strategic initiatives.
• Corporate Event Management: Lead the organization of key investor events such as earnings calls, investor days, and non-deal roadshows. This includes managing logistics, content creation, and engaging with analysts, investors, and the broader financial community to present a comprehensive view of the companys performance.
• Performance Reporting: Craft and deliver detailed earnings briefs, sector reports, and stock trading analysis. Maintain shareholding analysis, proxy voting, and oversee key financial announcements to ensure accurate and transparent reporting to shareholders.
• Management of Investor Days: Coordinate and execute Analyst Day events for sell-side analysts, ensuring that all aspectssuch as site visits, management interactions, and presentationsprovide in-depth insights into the companys strategy and operations.
• Conference Participation & Media Relations: Represent the company at investor conferences, webinars, and industry forums organized by domestic and international brokerage houses. Support PR teams in developing media messaging and managing press releases.
• Ad-hoc Presentations: Prepare quarterly earnings packs, presentations for the Board, CEO, and MD, and other corporate presentations that communicate critical business updates and financial performance.
• Corporate Governance & Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., SEBI), handling key shareholder communications, AGM/EGM management, and overseeing reporting and governance standards.
• Research & Analysis: Provide insights into market trends, investor sentiment, and competitor performance. Prepare sectoral and market research to inform investor discussions and corporate strategy.
• Team Management: Guide and oversee junior team members in the preparation of earnings reports, presentations, and investor communication materials. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all content produced by the IR team.

Preferred candidate profile

• Professional Qualifications: Indian Chartered Accountant (CA)/ MBA in IR

• Industry Expertise: Cross-functional experience in Real Estate Industry.

• Financial Analysis: Expertise in financial modelling (DCF, DDM), valuation techniques, stock trading analysis, and financial ratio analysis.

• IR Software Proficiency: Well-versed in office automation tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and financial research platforms such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, I-Metrix, ACE Equity.

• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and understandable manner.

• Event Management: Proven track record in hosting and managing corporate events, earnings calls, investor days, and analyst meetings.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of SEBI regulations and other financial reporting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, Indian accounting standards).
