                                Role Overview: As the Financial Reporting Manager, you will lead the preparation and delivery of financial statements and regulatory reports used by internal and external stakeholders to meet regulatory and compliance reporting requirements. You will be responsible for driving financial reporting deliverables for all reporting cycles, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial information. Additionally, you will analyze financial information, provide insights into business performance trends, and contribute to the design of opportunities for improvements in financial data, processes, and systems to support analysis and decision-making across the business.  Key Responsibilities: - Drive financial reporting deliverables for all reporting cycles, ensuring high-quality financial information delivery - Analyze financial information, design, develop, and maintain internal reporting products for financial disclosures and regulatory filing - Provide insights into monthly results and business performance trends - Contribute to designing opportunities for improvements in financial data, processes, and systems - Ensure governance of and compliance with company policies and procedures related to customer-specific trade spend - Identify potential risks and opportunities, design recommendations to address them appropriately - Drive process automation and optimization of manual tasks associated with handling large volumes of data from multiple sources - Provide guidance and technical support to junior team members in problem resolution - Continuously develop and share knowledge on emerging trends and changes in accounting, reporting, and financial control principles and practices - Implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy of accounting, reporting, and financial control processes  Qualifications Required: - Auditing experience - Proficiency in Management Reporting - Strong understanding of Accounting Principles - Knowledge of Financial Accounting - Familiarity with Financial Controls, Compliance & Risk - Experience in Statutory & External Financial Reporting - Skills in Forecasting, Planning & Budgeting - Understanding of Risk & Assurance - Knowledge of Finance Data, Processes & Systems - Proficiency in Financial & Data Analysis & Insight - Strong Decision-Making skills  Company Details: BT Group is a leading telco company with a rich heritage in the sector.
