OSS Solution Architect Specialist Key Purpose of the Role: BT is at forefront of Digital Transformation and rapidly moving towards Autonomous Network (AN) Management and Network as a Service (NaaS). This role holder will define and drive network OSS solution architecture & roadmap which enables higher level network management automation, business agility & drive future innovations towards AN level 5. Accountable for the solution architecture and support implementation of the next generation network OSS solutions & products. Specific Job Requirements: Must have working experience of Network OSS Solution Architecture in one or more of Network OSS sub-domains like (1) Network Plan & Build , (2) Network Inventory Management , (3) Network Business Process & Workflow Management, (4) Network & Service Activation/Provisioning, (5) Service & Resource Orchestration/Fulfilment Must have experience of Fixed networks (IP, Access, Transmission), network technologies and SDN & NFV based network technologies. Should have knowledge of fixed network products & services like broadband, ethernet, optical, IP VPN etc. Will define OSS product feature, capabilities & wider integration architecture in one or more of the above-mentioned network OSS sub-domains for OSS products/tools. Will define and lead on solution architecture (and solution design where applicable) for above mentioned network OSS sub-domains following TMF ODA architecture principles. Will work with enterprise architects, other BSS & OSS solution architects, solution designer, technical architect, software engineers, network users, and CFU stakeholders. Will define architecture, design and drive network OSS capabilities and solution for Network as a Service (NaaS) exposure and Autonomous Networks (AN) level 4 & 5. Should have good experience of software engineering and latest technologies used to realise networks OSS solutions & products, including micro-services architecture & cloud technology. Will decide & describe implementation of solutions using right software technology and best implementation approach to achieve benefits of re-useability, maintainability, cost & time advantage etc. Will use & adopt Telecom Standards such as TM Forum eTOM, SID, ODA, NaaS, Open APIs ; ETSI MANO, LSO and standards such as Netconf & IETF YANG in Network and OSS. This role is of Network OSS Solution Architect which requires good knowledge & working experience of networks, network technologies, network products & services and network OSS domains mentioned above as OSS solution designer or architect. Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills, quick learning ability and ability to come up with new innovations to be effective in the role of network OSS solution architect.
