Skills and Competencies

Experience in credit/financial data analysis and interpretation (2+ years preferred).
Strong understanding of structured finance and capital markets. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently on complex deliverables and collaboratively within a team. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; advanced interpersonal skills. Initiative in leading projects or process improvements. Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting.
CFA/FRM preferred

Responsibilities
Performs data, analytical, and research services supporting credit analysis for structured finance ratings.

Analyze financial data to support ratings, research, and analytical outreach.
Independently manage complex deliverables, such as primary loan-by-loan pools and covered bond tasks. Prepare detailed credit opinions and apply Moody’s standards to data inputs for ratings and research. Scrub and validate complex data for use in research and ratings. Review and interpret financial reports, official statements, and issuer performance documents. Collaborate with ratings and support analysts to understand data requirements and adjustments. Lead projects or process improvements as needed. Review work of junior team members for straightforward tasks.
