Job Description

As a Financial Controller for one of the top-performing hospital units, your role will involve leading the finance function to ensure the financial health of the unit and support long-term strategic growth. - **Strategic Financial Leadership**: Lead and manage the unit's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and capital planning. - **Financial Reporting**: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. - **Budgeting & Forecasting**: Prepare annual budgets and long-range plans, and monitor their implementation. - **Cost Optimization**: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality, especially in high-value departments like Cardiology. - **Internal Controls & Compliance**: Ensure strong internal financial controls and compliance with statutory laws, taxation norms, and audit requirements. - **MIS & Analytics**: Provide meaningful financial insights and dashboards for management decision-making. - **Team Management**: Lead and develop the finance team with a focus on performance and integrity. - **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Work closely with medical directors, operational heads, and promoters to align financial goals with the hospital's strategy. - **Revenue Cycle Management**: Supervise billing, receivables, collections, and liaison with insurance providers to ensure healthy cash flows. - **Capex Planning**: Manage financial evaluation and ROI assessment for capital expenditures, including new equipment and infrastructure. Your qualifications and competencies should include: - **Core Financial Expertise**: Strong understanding of accounting principles, audit, financial planning, taxation, and reporting. - **Healthcare Finance Domain Knowledge**: Experience in managing finances in a hospital setting, preferably with exposure to specialized departments such as Cardiology. - **Leadership & Strategy**: Ability to drive financial strategy at the unit level in alignment with corporate goals. - **Analytical Thinking**: Data-driven problem-solving mindset to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. - **Technology Savvy**: Proficiency in hospital ERP systems, advanced Excel, and financial modeling tools. - **Communication Skills**: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate financial matters effectively.,
