Financial Controller

Role Overview

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, compliance, and strategic planning. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with ERP systems, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to support growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead

  budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

  to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure accurate preparation of

  monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Oversee

  ERP systems (SAP/Tally ERP)

  and ensure smooth integration and data accuracy.
• Manage

  cash flow, liquidity, and working capital forecasting

  to support business operations.
• Ensure adherence to

  GST, TDS, PF, PT, FEMA, RBI, and ROC regulations

  ; coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Drive

  cost optimization initiatives

  , monitor BOM/COGS, and conduct cost center-wise analysis.
• Assist in

  fundraising, investor reporting, and due diligence

  , including preparation of financial models.
• Collaborate with

  investors, banks, and regulatory authorities

  to maintain strong financial governance.
• Mentor and manage finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  financial modeling, analysis, and valuation techniques

  .
• Expertise in

  budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  ERP systems (SAP HANA FI/CO, Tally ERP)

  .
• Proficiency in

  cash flow management, fundraising, and compliance (GST, FEMA, RBI, ROC)

  .
• Ability to manage

  audits, statutory filings, and intercompany consolidations

  .
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory.
• 4–6 years of experience in financial controlling, preferably in a

  startup or mid-sized company

  .
• Prior exposure to

  fundraising, investor relations, and ERP implementation

  is highly desirable.
