Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee end-to-end accounting for BESS, solar, wind, and hybrid projects, including SPV-level and holding company accounting.
• Manage accounting for CWIP, capitalization, depreciation, and asset commissioning across renewable projects.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, and applicable regulations.
• Lead consolidation of multiple SPVs and group entities, including eliminations and inter-company reconciliations.
• Prepare project-level MIS, variance analysis, cash flow reports, and performance dashboards for the CFO and senior management.

Controls, Compliance & Governance

• Design, implement, and monitor robust internal financial controls (IFC) and SOPs across renewable assets and corporate entities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
• Act as the primary interface for statutory auditors, internal auditors, lenders’ auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Drive timely closure of audit observations and continuous strengthening of control frameworks.

Taxation & Regulatory

• Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, withholding taxes) for multiple renewable SPVs.
• Ensure correct tax treatment for EPC contracts, O&M contracts, energy revenues, and BESS-related services.
• Support tax assessments, notices, and litigations in coordination with external advisors.

Treasury, Cash Flow & Fund Utilization

• Support the CFO in cash flow planning, fund utilization tracking, and working capital management.
• Monitor project-level fund flows, bank reconciliations, and compliance with financial covenants (where applicable).
• Support reporting requirements for equity investors and lenders.

Systems, Process & Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team, including SPV-level resources.
• Drive

  process standardization, automation, and ERP/system

• Ensure strong documentation, audit trails, and data integrity across systems.

Candidate Profile:

Experience

• 15–18 years of post-qualification experience in financial controllership, accounting, and compliance.
• Strong experience in renewable energy / infrastructure / power / EPC environments, preferably with multi-SPV structures.
• Hands-on exposure to Ind AS, asset capitalization, consolidation, and statutory audits.
• Experience working closely with CFOs, senior management, and external stakeholders.

Education (Mandatory)

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
