Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Consulting Senior Associate to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in accounting and finance optimization, with expertise in US GAAP and IFRS. Roles and Responsibility Manage complex accounting projects related to financial reporting, consolidation, and revenue recognition. Prepare and review technical memos and other disclosures on engagements, including drafting sections of Form F1, F4, 10-K, 10-Q, S-1, and S4. Provide audit readiness support for complex accounting matters and services to U.S.-based public clients. Review and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions to clients. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and support. Job Requirements Chartered Accountant/CPA with 2-4 years of technical accounting experience. Understanding of audit services with knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS. Experience with GAAP standards such as ASC 280, 810, 470, 815, 825, 860, ASC 805, 323, 325, and 480. Familiarity with IFRS standards like IFRS 10, 9, 3, IAS 28, and 32. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft financial statements according to SEC regulations. Experience working in a capability centre delivery model for U.S. clients. Exposure to accounting and financial reporting of IPO vehicles like traditional IPOs, REITs, SPACs, or DeSPAC projects, business trusts, reverse recapitalizations, etc. Knowledge of complex accounting concepts, including financial statement preparation and audit readiness. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in managing large and small projects related to at least two of the following: IFRS Conversions, Business Combination (ASC-805), Consolidation (ASC -810), Revenue Recognition, IPO transaction support, carve outs, Fair Value Accounting, Lease Accounting. Working on drafting financial statements as per SEC regulations for IPO and other filings. Performing audit readiness support for complex accounting matters and providing services to U.S.-based public clients. Working on projects entailing review of reporting and disclosure requirements applicable to registration statements filed with SEC and Rule 144A offerings. Working on Financial Statements disclosure checklists, SEC disclosure checklists for registration statements, and drafts of sections of various SEC filings (e.g., MDA draft, etc.).
