Role Description

SkillzenLoop is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst Intern to assist our finance and strategy team. In this role, you will help analyze financial data, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and support the preparation of financial reports. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making within a growing organization.

Primary Responsibilities

• Data Collection & Analysis: Assist in gathering and analyzing financial data from various sources to identify trends and variances.

• Financial Reporting: Help prepare monthly and quarterly financial summaries, including profit and loss statements and budget-to-actual reports.

• Market Research: Conduct research on industry benchmarks and competitor financial performance to support strategic planning.

• Forecasting Support: Assist in building basic financial models and projections to help predict future business performance.

• Audit & Documentation: Help maintain organized financial records and assist with internal audit checks to ensure data integrity.

Requirements

• Education: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce (B.Com/M.Com), or an MBA in Finance.

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to work with numbers and a high degree of attention to detail.

• Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization) is essential.

• Financial Literacy: Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and valuation concepts.

• Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive financial information with a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
