Financial Accountant

We are actively seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring all financial data, preparing accurate statements, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

Your role will encompass budgeting, managing tax payments, performing internal audits, and providing consultancy to senior managers for cost and revenue analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
• Forecast costs and revenues
• Manage tax payments
• Organize internal audits
• Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
• Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
• Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
• Analyze financial trends
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes

• Project Compliance:

• Provide financial advice to Project management teams for adherence to project management best practices, standards, and methodologies.
• Conduct quality reviews and audits to verify compliance with project requirements.

• Stakeholder Engagement:

• Engage with stakeholders to gather financial requirements, solicit feedback, and manage expectations.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration and support success.
• Act as a liaison between project teams, leadership, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.

Key skills

• Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
• In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
• Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
• Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
• Time-management abilities
• Confidentiality
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Additional certification (e.g. CA/CPA) is a plus
