Finance Manager

As a Finance Manager with our FMCG client based in London, UK, you will play a crucial role in managing the profitability of the business unit. Your responsibilities will include: - Advising the management on risk reduction strategies and identifying areas of concern in various aspects of the business. You will recommend effective resource utilization to the management committee. - Negotiating with business associates and distributors on financial matters. - Conducting quarterly customer account reconciliation and balance confirmations. - Leading cost control and profit improvement projects, as well as processing claims. - Creating, advising, and maintaining the pricing structure. - Preparing, presenting, and controlling the budget, and monitoring business performance against budget. - Making pricing decisions to protect margins and calculating distributor return on investment. - Creating and monitoring secondary sales and stock MIS for each customer and SKU. In terms of compliance and risk management, you will be responsible for: - Keeping company records in accordance with local accounting standards, IFRS, and other regulatory laws. - Ensuring compliance with accounting standards such as VUK, IFRS, and Indian GAAP. - Ensuring all transactions are conducted in compliance with SOP and Delegation of Authority. Regarding supply chain management, your duties will involve: - Ensuring timely availability of finished products as per sales plan. - Coordinating with production to meet finished goods dispatch requirements. - Providing timely updates on changes in dispatch plans to all concerned functions. - Offering plans to the planning team based on demand. - Ensuring proper documentation and timely clearance of containers at customers" end. Additionally, you will be responsible for launching new systems and processes. You will also oversee compliance for internal, external, and process audits, liaise with tax authorities, manage credit control and insurance, and ensure tax compliances and overheads booking.
