Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified Finance Manager / Senior Manager to join our finance team in the Metal Trading industry. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in core accounting, GST compliance, and treasury management. The role demands strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of financial regulations, and hands-on experience managing complex finance operations in a trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:1. Core Accounting & Financial Management

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and payroll.
• Finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts as per applicable standards (Ind AS/IFRS).
• Ensure timely closure of books and preparation of financial statements.
• Manage audits – statutory, internal, and tax audits.

2. GST & Compliance

• Handle all aspects of GST, including returns, reconciliations, input credit management, and compliance.
• Ensure timely filing and adherence to indirect tax regulations.
• Liaise with consultants and government authorities for tax assessments and notices.

3. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Monitor and manage company’s daily cash flows and working capital requirements.
• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for fund management, BG/LCs, and forex transactions.
• Optimize treasury processes and minimize interest costs through better fund allocation.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the management on financial planning.

5. Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support business goals.
