Finance Manager

As the Plant Finance Head at Colgate-Palmolive Company in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, you will play a pivotal role in leading all financial activities at the plant level. Your responsibilities will include ensuring financial control, budgeting, costing, capital expenditure, cost efficiency, and inventory controls to drive the plant's financial performance. With your strong analytical skills and leadership abilities, you will be an integral part of the plant's success. - Oversee all financial operations within the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with detailed variance analysis - Manage SKU level standard costing, new product costing, and periodic review of existing FG SKU costing - Drive plant conversion costs, track expenses, and lead savings initiatives to support the plant's growth program - Collaborate closely with the Director of Manufacturing and other stakeholders as a key member of the Plant leadership team (PLT) - Manage fixed assets, including Capex spends, timely capitalizations, assets tagging, retirement, and post-implementation evaluations - Ensure effective stewardship through timely reporting for PPRs, Sox controls, plant compliances, and working closely with SCF head, Plant finance peers, and Supply chain teams To qualify for this position, you should: - Be a Chartered Accountant with a strong background in costing - Possess a minimum of 6+ years of experience in finance, particularly in manufacturing or plant finance - Have proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and hands-on experience in Standard costing, FI & CO Module in SAP - Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders At Colgate-Palmolive, the company is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated, and every individual feels a true sense of belonging.
