Role & responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers (small shops, retail outlets, local businesses) within the assigned territory.
  
• Conduct on-site product demonstrations showcasing features like billing, payment tracking, customer management, and reports.
  
• Explain software benefits clearly and address any questions or concerns from prospects.
  
• Close sales deals on-site or schedule follow-ups as necessary.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers for long-term engagement.
  
• Record all sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in CRM or reporting tools.
  
• Collaborate with Inside Sales and Customer Support teams for smooth onboarding.
  
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer needs to provide feedback to management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Number of demos conducted per week/month.
  
• Deals closed and revenue generated per territory.
  
• Lead conversion rate.
  
• Customer satisfaction and feedback.
  
• Timely reporting of sales activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum [13] years of field sales experience (preferably in software, POS, or retail solutions).
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills.
  
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  
• Knowledge of the local retail market is a plus.
  
• Comfortable using tablets/laptops for demos and maintaining digital records.
