Field Sales Executive pune 0 - 3 years INR 1.25 - 3.0 Lacs P.A. Remote Full Time

We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Field Sales Executive in IT to drive sales of our billing software to small shops and retail businesses. The ideal candidate will engage directly with shop owners, demonstrate the software, and convert prospects into loyal customers. Role & responsibilities Identify and approach potential customers (small shops, retail outlets, local businesses) within the assigned territory. Conduct on-site product demonstrations showcasing features like billing, payment tracking, customer management, and reports. Explain software benefits clearly and address any questions or concerns from prospects. Close sales deals on-site or schedule follow-ups as necessary. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers for long-term engagement. Record all sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in CRM or reporting tools. Collaborate with Inside Sales and Customer Support teams for smooth onboarding. Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer needs to provide feedback to management. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Number of demos conducted per week/month. Deals closed and revenue generated per territory. Lead conversion rate. Customer satisfaction and feedback. Timely reporting of sales activities. Preferred candidate profile Minimum [13] years of field sales experience (preferably in software, POS, or retail solutions). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills. Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently. Knowledge of the local retail market is a plus. Comfortable using tablets/laptops for demos and maintaining digital records.
